Crisis management

Duty staff 24/7

With a team of 28 people enrolled in a rotation system, the Crisis Centre ensures a round-the-clock duty staff (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to collect, analyse and disseminate to the competent authorities urgent information of any kind, for example via the "Early Warning System".

A phased approach

Emergencies are coordinated at the municipal, provincial and federal levels, in accordance with the Royal Decree of 16 February 2006.

The five disciplines

Each emergency is combatted by the emergency services. Their missions are divided into five disciplines and each establishes a monodisciplinary action plan.
